Annual Care Pack - Terms and Conditions
1. Cavtec Systems Ltd is not responsible for any customer data or backing-up of data; advice can be given on these issues.
2. The customer must ensure that Antivirus and anti-spyware programs are installed and updated. Customers who have problems with infections after doing all that they can to protect their system; they will be covered under the care package. If a customer experiences an infection and the anti-virus and spyware software has not been updated regularly, will not be covered under the agreement.
3. Firewall software or devices need to be installed and up to date; if you have intrusions or security issues when your programs are up to date, you will be covered under the care package.
4. Any corruptions caused by 3rd - party programs on your systems, or the installation of them, will not be covered.
5. Hardware failure with the computer or any other attached device is not covered under the care package. In the event of hardware failure the care package provides a 10% discount on replacement parts.
6. Software corruptions caused by hardware failure are not usually covered but exceptions can be made, depending on the hardware failure, at the discretion of Cavtec engineers.
7. Printer service package covers system software problems, but doe's not cover electronic or mechanical faults. The care package will cover general service to ensure the smooth operation of the device.
8. The Care Package does not cover the cost of any on-site visits by Company Staff. If on-site support is required, there would be an additional cost of £35.00 + vat to cover 12 months.
